By Air By Rail is a festival that is held every year to support the Fortville/McCordsville Chamber of Commerce. It is a 3-day long festival with many event stations such as: model trains, model airplanes, hot air balloons, kids exhibits and other fun activities.

There will be a 5k Walk/Run that is open to the public. This year we plan on having many more vendors than we have had in the previous years, and we also plan to have over 10,000 sq. ft. of lego display.

By Air By Rail is the main fundraiser for the Fortville/McCordsville area. Admission is free and the event is held at the Mt. Vernon Intermediate School in Mid July.
